How to Apply for Membership
All new applications for ITWA membership should be submitted by the start of the US Open each year.
Any full-time tennis writer who attends at least 15 tournaments (i.e. ATP, WTA, Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup ties), including three Grand Slam events, within a two-year period is eligible to apply. Each Grand Slam event counts as two events.
The board will review new member applications after the US Open each year and also conducts an annual review of members who may no longer meet the ITWA criteria.
